Anfosso Taggiasca olive paté is made with olives from the Ligurian Riviera that are harvested from the family-owned olive groves in the province of Imperia, pitted and left to mature in brine. The olive paste is extracted and finally extra virgin olive oil is added, also produced on the farm.
This cream of Taggiasca olives is perfect for spreading on bruschetta and croutons or for dressing a first course of pasta or a cold pasta salad.
Ligurian tradition recommends using croxetti and trofie seasoned with Taggiasca olive paté, a few cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
