The authentic encounter of Cilento citrus fruits
Minnelea Orange and Lemon Extra Jam is born from the union of two citrus fruits grown in Cilento: the sweet and juicy Washington orange, and the fragrant and lively lemon from our groves. The fruits are harvested only when they reach full ripeness and are handcrafted in our laboratory, respecting their natural timing. The orange gives softness and roundness to the taste, while the lemon adds freshness and a pleasant citrus note. Together they create a balanced, intense but never excessive jam.
To prepare it, we use orange and lemon juice and zest, along with a small amount of cane sugar. No thickeners, no added pectin, no artificial preservatives or colorings. The consistency comes naturally from the citrus fruits themselves and from the slow processing, maintaining the authentic taste of the fruit.
Low-temperature gentle processing:
The jam is cooked sous-vide at a low temperature, a technique chosen to preserve the aromas, color, and aromatic characteristics of freshly picked citrus fruits.
The result is a jam with a brilliant color and harmonious flavor, where the sweetness of the orange intertwines with the freshness of the lemon in a natural and elegant way.
Perfect from breakfast to gourmet pairings:
Ideal on toast, rusks, or for filling croissants and artisanal tarts, this jam also pairs well with aged cheeses and stronger flavors, thanks to its fresh and persistent citrus note.
